Lontaine B.V., acting under the name Lontaine, is a company that facilitates a global service network of accommodation and care services to provide senior and cognitive care, post-surgery and rehabilitation agencies (the Services).

When you use our Website and Services, we collect certain personal data from you. Personal data is understood as all the information by which you can be (directly or indirectly) identified, such as you name, financial information and IP-address.

We keep the personal data as long as we need them for the purposes stated above:
First of all, we will never sell your personal data to other companies that (indirectly) do not provide services to you.
However, we do need to share some of your personal data with external parties in order to provide you our Services.
Nursing Partners
Lontaine carefully selects nursing companies (i.e. clinics, hospitals, etc.) to provide you with the necessary medical care during your trip (Nursing Partners). After the intake with Lontaine, you will have a separate intake with the relevant Nursing Partner. The Nursing Partner will discuss your precise medial needs and required care with you and will create a nursing plan accordingly. The Nursing Partner will also prepare a list of recommended activities for you, in line with your physical and mental health.
The services of the Nursing Partners will be based on a secured customer agreement between you and the Nursing Partner. Lontaine only facilitates the contact between you and the Nursing Partner and is not a party in this agreement. Lontaine will never receive any personal data you provided to the Nursing Partner. In order to learn more about the way the Nursing Partners handles your personal data, we advise you to carefully read the privacy policy of the relevant Nursing Partner.
Processors
We use Processors to assist us in our Services. Within this context these Processors receive personal data from us which they process by our order. We use the following types of Processors: epik.com for website and email hosting and freshbooks for payment providers.
These Processors are required to follow our instructions strictly, which are laid down in a Data Processing Agreement in accordance with the Privacy Legislation. Therefore, they will not use the personal data for their own purposes. We will verify that all our Processors comply with the Privacy Legislation.
Apart from the above, we will not share your personal data with others – unless we are legally required to do so.
We may transmit personal data to parties outside the EU, if one of our Processors is established outside the EU. We will always make sure the transmission of personal data outside the EU will always happen in conformity with the Privacy Legislation (chapter 5 of the GDPR), meaning the personal data will only be transferred to a company or country that provides an adequate level of protection.
